Although I've had occasion to avail myself of the very exquisite services offered by In Bloom (over the last Thanksgiving holiday I was able to take a Buds & Bundts cake and floral arrangement to family members in New York City and believe me, when you can impress a New Yorker who's "seen it all" that is truly an amazing accomplishment.)
    Recently, however, with the death of a very good friend and neighbor, again I called upon the services of In Bloom.  I asked Jeff to provide a very simple "live" arrangement that his wife could take home as a reminder of the affection that my children had for her husband.  Not only was this request handled expediently (within several hours of the request), but when I asked for simple, what Jeff delivered was simply elegant, a mirror of the way our friend lived his life with simple, quiet grace.  From the time we arrived at the funeral home, his wife was thanking us profusely for our thoughtfulness.  Her husband was a gardener of both plants and people.  He helped our children grow to be more caring and helpful to others and the living arrangement captured this sentiment perfectly.

Jeffrey, Barbara and Helen,

Thank you so much for "painting the final strokes" on our evening.  Your creativity and, yes, unique style 
added simplistic elegance to our event. The choice of flowers and evergreens were perfect - incorporating 
the meaning and significance of each.  The symbolic representation echoed what our event was about, adding 
depth to the masterpiece being created. Truly not enough can be said for all you invested in this project.  At
our first meeting you scanned the blank canvas and one could see the gears starting to turn.  From there you 
thought through each brush stroke to bring the rooms to life.
    The centerpieces were carefully crafted with not only the consideration of our guests in mind, but the 
incorporation of the theme.
    We enjoyed watching the fountains come alive as your brush added character, color and beauty.  
Each arrangement was carefully nestled in just the right place, taking in full account of the shape, 
position and heights of the three fountains.
    Thank you for suggesting an arrangement for the harpist - highlighting an important aspect of the 
evening.
    We loved the attention given to the cake - it was simply the "icing" on the cake.
    The arrangements in each of the food and beverage rooms again were beautiful, pulling the 
whole picture together.
    We received numerous compliments on how beautiful and exquisite the arrangements were.  
To that we gave you the credit.  Obviously, you made this project personal.  Embracing our vision 
and making the evening a  magical, special time only added to our appreciation of a "painting" well
done.
    Above all, the bride, groom and guests felt special as they were drawn into a simplistic - elegant 
fairy-tale evening.  Thank you for playing such
an important role.

I am so pleased with the way the flowers turned out. Your truly are a talented man. Mike and I, as well as mom, are very lucky to know you. Thank you also for the beautiful vase. I cut and arranged my bouquet in it as soon as we got home on Monday. The opened-neck vases are so much better than the bottle neck ones for bouquets, and now we have one.

 

Mike isn’t quite as happy as I am , because now, he thinks he had to keep it filled with flowers. Seriously though, your help has proven invaluable and we thank you form the bottom of our hearts.
